I feel that i am more of a right-brainer. Even though i am right handed. Typically right handed people are left brainers. In my case it is much different. I am more artistic and creative. I hate having to do math and just solve problems. I enjoy coming up with ideas and putting them to use. I also like to learn new things everyday. Having a job where i don't get to come up with ideas or draw, or write would drive me crazy. I hate doing the same thing for more than a few minutesd unless there is a painting or a story being created. I believe i am one acception to the philosophy of the right handed person.

    3. Artistic

    2- 1. Computer Programmer
    2. Accountant

1- I feel that I am a left-brainer. I usually prefer to work a problem out on paper, rather than talk about it. I like to look at the facts of a situation, and make a logical choice, rather than to look at which choice would make me feel a certain way. I enjoy my math and science classes more than my language classes. However, I do like to draw for fun. But, when it comes to problem solving, I usually would draw a chart or diagram, rather than an artistic picture. So, I feel that I am very left-brained, but i have some left brain characteristics, such as liking to draw, and playing music.

1: I think I have both the right-brain and the left-brain. I think that I am a right brainer simple because I try new things. I am a left hander and it’s typically known that left hander people use their right-brain more. I use my left brain because I want to be what most people who use their left-brain are. I would like to be a lawyer, a nurse, a teacher, and etc. I have chosen many different occupations in my life. After reading this article I have found out that most of the jobs that I wanted to have are left-brain jobs. I use both my right and left-brain through out my life but I use my right brain more.

3 Characters of a right-brainer are empathy, design and story-telling
2 Jobs of a left-brained person are accountants and lawyers.
I have elements of both my right-brain and my left-brain, but I feel I use my right side much more. I like reading, especially books that take you on an adventure and usually when I read I imagine what’s happening in the book in my head. I am always drawing or thinking about drawing and in my life careers I’ve wanted to go into have all been artistic. At first I wanted to be a teacher, then a sculptor, interior designer, and architect. Now I’ve decided to go with forensics, which includes elements of, contrary to belief, the right-brain. Even now that I know what I want to be though, I still feel that in my life, I will still explore more elements that involve more of my right side.

  5. 3. -Characteristic of Right Brainers:
    - Artistry
    - Empathy
    - Inventive

    2. -Job the left-brainers typically hold:
    - Lawyer
    - Engineer

    1. – In 100 words explain if you feel that you are a right brainer or left brainer.

I think that I am the right brainer because I always being creative with the things that I do. However, sometimes I also used my left brain because when I do projects I want to make sure that it’s full of efforts, but most of the time, I used my right brain more than my left brain. For example, when I make a Power-Point Presentation, I always want to make sure that it looks good and I like to decorate them with anything that I can do. So, I believe that I’m more of the right brainer because I do stuff more creative instead of using my left brain.

    • Artistic
    • Empathetic
    • Inventive

2 Job a left brainer typically hold:
    • Engineer
    • Lawyer

In a100 words or more explain if you feel that you are left brainer or a right brainer:

I think that I would be a left brainer because I think that I would be like an engineer or maybe a lawyer. The reason why I think that is because to me left brainers have more of a chance to be something that could help them or there family. Also I think that right brainers have a chance to but I still think that the left brain people still have a better chance to be something more in life. A right brained person can also a have a chance but to me today in this world you have to be something that can help you.

-I think that I am a right brained person because for one I can not draw to save my life. I am also gold at problem solving, math and science. I like to figure out a good math problem but I do not like to draw a picture or design a poster regarding something. I also have the desire to become a forensic scientist which has a lot to do with chemistry. I also have no creativity. The only thing I can do that is creative is come up with a new beat on my drum or come up with a cadence for the drum line.

Three characteristics of a right-brainier are flighty, spacey, and artsty-fartsy..."woo-woo".

Two jobs a left-brainer would typically hold are like computer work and something that deals with the field of mathematics.

I think I am a right brainer. I believe this because what Pink described in his article for a typical right brain people, pretty much describes me. Most of the time I feel like I am a right brainer because I am usually doing something that deals with art work, or drawing of some sort. Also I do believe that I am a left brainer too because sometimes remembering things and reading information comes a lot easier for me than others. Although this may just be like my genetics I do believe that it has something to do with my brain. So all in all I believe that I am both

I think that I am a right brainer. The way that Mr. Pink described a right brainer, basically was describing me as well. I am very creative and sometimes I am doing activities involving art or writing or maybe even drawing. I don’t think I am really a left brainer because it’s not always easy for me to comprehend certain things. For instance, I am a visual learner and you have to explain the topic thoroughly to me for me to understand. So out of the two I am more of a right brainer.

I agree that right brain thinkers are a little more creative and may thimk out the box. But every thing els he talks about is creazy, no matter what side of brain you use you can do just as good or better than the oter side brain thinker.

1-I would say that I am more of a right brainer. I’d rather draw instead of actually working. I am good at math but I wouldn’t say I will become an accountant when I grow up. I like to think of the picture. Left brainer is more in touch with some of their learning. They are less creative. They are less inventive than right brainer. I do have a good memory like left brainers. We right brainers are more in to our designing skills. We would rather draw a picture than figure out monthly sales record. So I would call myself more of a right brain thinker because I am more creative.

I think that I mostly am a left brainer because I am artistic but I am not a super creative person. I can do normal jobs and I am good at math. I also have a good memory and I can catch on to things easily. I don't think I'm a right brainer because I am not good at things that are very hard to do. It does come very easy to me because I really think that I am a left-brainer and I don't really want to be a right- brainer. I can do simple jobs but nothing really extreme.

  13. Alexa pd.2, 3 characteristics of a right brainer is that they are flighty, spacey, and artsy-fartsy. 2 jobs a left brainer would typically hold are in law, or science. I would consider myself both left and a right brainer because I am more likely to want to do math than trying to find a creative alternative to a situation. I also have times where I just feel like I need to laugh even though half of me is saying “stop laughing, nothings funny” the other half is like “just relax you are under too much pressure just have a good laugh then get back on task”. I am not that creative and “artsy-fartsy” but I do consider myself to be spacey, because one minute I’ll be completely focused but then just space out the next minute, but I am good in math and enjoy math as well.

Right brainers can be empathetic, creative and the can tell stroies. Left brainers would typically be lawyers or accountants. Even though I write with my right hand, which would classify me as a left brainer, I feel as though I am a right brained person. To me everything does not have to make sense. I see the world from different perspectives and can also identify with the way people are feeling. Facts and anything that seems typicall bores more. I like to be creative and spontaneous. I love to laugh just because. I find the beauty in everything and can find good in the bad. I'd rather draw pictures and dance, then do book work. I guess you could say I'm the epitome of a right brainer.

3- Right brain people are flighty, spacey, and "artsy-fartsy".

    2- Usually law or science.

1- I feel that I really am more like a Left-Brained thinker. Not only is it because I am right-handed, but because I have a lot of what are considered to be the qualities of the Left-Brained thinker. The main things that got me were when they listed our typical careers and what subjects we do well in. We usually do well in classes like English, cultures, math, etc. Those are the same subjects that I get my best grades in. With the jobs, two out of three given were the careers I was debating over; an accountant or a nurse (sciences). These and a lot more give me reason to believe that I am definitely a Left-Brained thinker.

  17. • A right brainer people are flighty
    • They are spacey
    • They are artsy-fartsy

    • A left brainer would hold an architect job

    • And a lawyer job

I feel that I am a left-brainer because I feel that I think like one. The way it was described in the story, I feel that I sort of fit the description of a left-brainer. I also think that I can keep one of the jobs that were expected of a left-brainer to keep. Like an architect or a lawyer, sometimes I feel like that’s what would fit me also. I think that left-brainers are very smart people and I feel like I am smart too, I have good memory just like a left-brainer does also. That’s why I feel that I am a left-brainer.

I think that I am a right brain thinker. I reason I believe that is because I am terrible at math. But one thing that confuses me is I use my right hand more then my left. When I was little, I was really good at drawling but I have seemed to lose that skill. I think I have kind of switched. This is because I am staring to get better at math and I suck at drawling. But I do believe that it is possible to train your brain to be good no matter what it is you are doing.

I know for sure that I am a left brain thinker because I love math and I find it to be very easy for me. I have a pretty good memory and I would rather view a chart or graph rather than a picture. I do have some ability as a right brained thinker because I can draw very well and I can think in an artistic way if needed. All my life I have been right handed and i have always wondered how it was possible to just favor something of your own body. This articule/interview has opened my eyes a little and has made me accually want to train my right brain muscles as well.

Daniel Pink, is a very smart man from what I have read in his interview with Oprah Winfrey. But, some people may get the wrong impression about how he views left-brain thinkers. He says many people see right-brainers as being more conservative and sophisticated versus a left-brainer which is portrayed as being spacey and arsty-farsty. I dont believe thats is accurate because everyone is smart and can achieve more if they decide to dedicate themselves to it. He made a very good point when he said all the left-brainers had to do was to get the other half of their brain in shape when going out to face the world, that could be an encouragement to some. Overall, his perspective is his own and i hope that people don't take what he said offensively and keep pressing on regardless of what anyone may think or say whats best for those individuals.

I think I am a left brainer because I have a brother who is a right brainer and, we do things totally opposite. He is very smart when it comes to math and getting things put together on a quick mannered level. Even though I am a left brain thinker I don't think that I'm loopy or unorganized honestly I think its the other way around. Being that I am smart in math and a very good artist. So, how can someone say you have to work harder to be better at this because of what side of your brain you think with? The whole thing with the brain is interesting but also, manipulative because that article makes me think about what I'm good at now and if I will be successful in things I supposedly have to work to be good at.

I feel that I am a left-brain thinker because I have all of the characteristics of a left-brain thinker. I am good in math, writing and I think very logically. I am very skeptical because when I use something new I like to know how it works or I have already tried it. I am also horrible on thinking outside the box. I think very logically and I am not creative at all. I know I am not a right-brain thinker because I do not have any of those traits. The biggest one is artistic. I am not artistic at all but it doesn’t really bother me unless I am in art class.

I say that I am a left brain thinker when I am willing to learn but in a lazy type of mood and can not visualize a thing but can memorize facts. I say that I am a right brain thinker when I am doing something that I am very interested in and having fun then I can visualize things in my head and be very in depth when I am talking and think of things other people may not. I feel as though that I am more of a left-brainer. I am able to remember things that I am taught but I sometimes have trouble picturing things. I am a lot better at remembering straight facts opposed to picturing it in my head and figuring it out. I believe that is why I am so accelerated in Social Studies opposed to Math because in social studies, I am able to remember important dates and events. In math, I have a hard to times picturing shapes and figures in my head. In my opinion I think that memorizing facts are a lot easier than picturing things in my head in being creative about it.

I think that I'm more of a left-brained person. For example I am right handed, so that's a sure fire example that I am left-brained. In my everyday life I also think it shows that i am left-brained. I think I'm creative, but I'm not very artistic. I would much rather be on the computer designing a website or installing new software, than drawing a picture or painting a "Masterpiece." I would have to say that I disagree with Pink. Our world is getting more and more technologically based and the need for left-brained people will always be there and there shouldn't be that much outsourcing for the people in the USA that need jobs.

This is one of the characteristics of a right-brained thinker. I also am very creative when it comes to something that I want to do. I like debating. Even if I am wrong I will still argue my point. I also think highly of myself. Not to the point where I am conceited or think that I am better than someone though. I just take pride in my appearance and go that extra mile to make sure that I look ok before walking out the door. Also when I do get mad, I don’t like expressing my self. My words start to run together and I can’t think well enough to find the words that I want to use, causing me to stutter.
